Public transport is punctual and easy to use. There is the train service called Fertagus connecting the Peninsular from Setubal to Lisbon and there is the bus system TST which has a map of routes throughout the Peninsular and up to Lisbon and even down to Algarve. Taxis are not expensive and it is a good idea to have a number of one to avoid drinking and driving.
