There is the train service called Fertagus connecting the Peninsular from Setubal to Lisbon and there is the bus system TST which has a map of routes throughout the Peninsular and up to Lisbon and even down to Algarve. Taxis are not expensive and it is a good idea to have a number of one to avoid drinking and driving.
